What is The Pike Performing Arts Center?
The Pike Performing Arts Center is a non-profit 501©(3) organization whose primary focus is to provide the highest quality professional, academic, and community performances for the enjoyment and enlightenment of the public. The Center is a strong complement to the Indianapolis arts scene, fostering an ever-increasing and effective involvement of the surrounding educational and lay communities.
What is the difference between the Pike Performing Arts Center and the Pike Performing Arts Department.
The Pike Performing Arts Center is a non-profit 501©(3) organization, funded primarily by sponsorships, whose primary focus is to provide the highest quality professional, academic, and community performances for the enjoyment and enlightenment of the public.
The Pike Performing Arts Department is an important part of Pike High School and one of the largest performing arts departments in the state with many bands, orchestras, choirs, theatrical groups, and dance groups.

How do I purchase tickets?
There are five (5) easy ways to purchase a ticket through the Pike Performing Arts Center:
- Online: www.pikepac.org.
- By phone: (317) 216-5455 The Box Office Line is open Monday – Friday 10:00AM – 4:00PM EST.
- In person: The Box Office is located just inside the entrance to the Pike Performing Arts Center. Parking is available in front of the Center and is always free.
- By fax: (317) 216-5460 Faxed orders are processed daily. Please include your name, the name of the show you would like to purchase tickets for, the number of tickets, and your daytime phone number. A PPAC Box Office representative will then promptly call you back to process the order over the phone with your payment information.
- By e-mail: E-mail the Box Office at ppac@pike.k12.in.us. Please include your name, the name of the show you would like to purchase tickets for, the number of tickets, and your daytime phone number. A PPAC Box Office representative will then promptly call you back to process the order over the phone with your payment information.
*Please note: The Pike Performing Arts Center does not sell tickets for every event held at the Center. Please call the Box Office if you have a question about how to purchase tickets to a specific event.
I purchased tickets to an event, but now I can’t attend. What can I do?
All ticket sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges for ticketed events at the Pike Performing Arts Center once a sale is completed. However, we are happy to work with you so that someone else, such as a friend or family member, can use your tickets.

The tickets I ordered did not arrive in the mail as I requested. What should I do?
Single tickets purchased over the phone or online will automatically be held at the Will Call for your convenience, but may be picked up in advance by the purchasing patron only. Season Subscription tickets are batch printed and mailed at a predetermined date to the address you provide at the time of your order, unless you request Box Office pickup.
If you believe your tickets were mailed and you did not receive them, please contact us at (317) 216-5455. We will be happy to arrange a reprint of your tickets for you. To pick up your reprinted tickets, present a picture ID at the Box Office window 90 minutes prior to curtain.
I am in a wheelchair or have difficulty with steps. Where will my seats be located?
The Pike Performing Arts Center is fully compliant with ADA rules and regulations. We have seating areas in our theaters that will accommodate your needs and allow you to enjoy our presentations completely. To reserve seats in these areas, please contact our Box Office. We apologize, but these seats are not available on our website.
In the Main Auditorium, you’ll find accessible seats in Rows L and Z of the Main Floor. The Balcony is accessible by 42 steps only. There is no elevator access to the balcony.
In the Studio Theatre, accessible seats are located in Rows 4 and 5.
You’ll be able to access all rows listed above without encountering stairs. Assistance is available upon arrival at the theatre. Parking for persons with disabilities is located in the lot directly in front of the building and is always free.
I am hearing impaired. How can you accommodate me?
The Pike Performing Arts Center is pleased to offer our patrons with hearing difficulties Telex Hearing Assitance devices. When you arrive at the theatre, please go to the Box Office and request one of these devices. A photo ID or credit card will be required to secure a device and will be returned to you with the return of the device.
If you require a sign language interpreter or audio description please contact the Center by phone at (317) 216-5450 at least 72 hours in advance of your preferred performance date.
I live outside of the continental United States. How will I receive my tickets?
The Pike Performing Arts Center does not mail tickets outside the continental United States. We will automatically hold your tickets at our Box Office for pickup during regular business hours or on the day of the event. Please present picture ID to claim your tickets.
I lost an item on a recent trip to the Pike Performing Arts Center. Is there a Lost and Found I can contact to retrieve the missing article?

What are your curtain times?
Curtain times differ from show to show. Please check your tickets. If you have questions regarding a showtime please call (317) 216-5455
Where can I park?
Plenty of free parking is available in the three lots that surround the Center. During regular business hours you may park in any of the visitor spaces in the lot directly in front of the Center. The lot directly in front of the Center is reserved for handicapped patrons only, during shows. Parking is always free.
Do I have to dress up to see a play?
At any given performance you’re likely to see everything from jeans to tuxedos. The best rule of thumb: business attire (unless a dress code is specified for a particular event).
Can I bring young children to the theatre?
The Pike Performing Arts Center has a long-standing history of providing family friendly entertainment at family-friendly prices. We, therefore, welcome children six years of age and older to our theatres. No babes in arms can be admitted to the theatres. With questions about age-appropriateness of a particular play, please call the Box Office at (317) 216-5455 for guidelines.
How can I be reached when I’m at the theatre?
(317) 216-5450 – Parents and doctors may leave this number in case of an emergency. Be sure your caregiver knows the name of the production you are seeing and the exact location of your seats. House management staff will then be able to locate you in case of emergency.
Can I take pictures in the theatre?
Actor’s Equity Union rules strictly prohibit the taking of photographs or videos or using recording devices in the theatre. Some exceptions may apply. Their use may result in having them confiscated and the film/video destroyed. The use of camera phones is also strictly prohibited.
Out of consideration for the actors and audience members, please make sure your cell phone is turned off before you enter the theatre.
Where can I get something to eat before the show?
Food and drinks are available at the concession stand in the Main Lobby prior to most shows. No food or drink is allowed in the theatre, however. Indianapolis has many fine downtown restaurants in a variety of price ranges within driving distance of the Center. Traders Point Shopping Centre is located just a few miles north on 86th Street and Zionsville Road.
